Stan Lee is the cameo king. Stan the man is a national treasure. Stan Lee always inspires me; he has so much energy, and enthusiasm for life. Which is why I find the video so funny and so true. Who wouldn’t love to see Stan Lee be involved with so many other Geek related stories other than his Marvel Comic characters. The video is done by HISHE (How It Should Have Ended). HISHE makes so many funny videos; I have surely wasted my nights just watching and laughing my butt off at the hilarious alternate endings HISHE has produced of our favorite movies. Every time I hear the Original Spider-Man Theme Song written by Paul Francis Webster it takes me back to my childhood. Now I am not that old to have watched the original TV series air in 1967; I watched it as a kid in the 1980′s when they aired the reruns. When I was a kid they used to play the 1967 Spider-Man television series; I used to watch it every morning before heading out to school. The Spider-Man theme song is etched within my head, I may not remember all the words but the tune, and some of the words has always stuck out to me. Just watch the above video and see Spider-man come to life. When I was just a kid I used to draw comics a lot. I got away from it for a while, and I am a little rusty in the drawing department now. However, I do envy those that can draw like the wind. Spider-man has always been my favorite character. He has the most unique costume. It must take a lot of work to just draw all the webs on his costume. After the creation of Spider-man, I bet any artist that had to draw him with all that black webbing in his costume must have been spending long nights to just draw them. Spider-man Says Go Out And Vote

In 1992, I guess the VSDA decided that their weren’t many people going out to vote. Then the VSDA decided lets get Spider-man to help. The VSDA produced this short PSA in order to get the vote out. It’s true Spider-man is one of our beloved characters, but I’m not so sure that having a fictional character is the best way to get people to the polls. Although, I must admit it sure is a remember-able ad. Also, if you notice the Marvel Comics copyright in the beginning of the video. They got Marvel Comics approval, very nice. Spider-man is right though, he cannot vote for you. You will have to do it all on your own. Let Spider-man fight the Green Goblin instead. Comics Review: Avengers vs X-men Round 3

Captain America World

The cosmic force known as the Phoenix Force approaches.  It could mean the end of the Earth. However, it is up to The Avengers to take its chosen host, Hope Summers into custody, but the X-men stand in their way. As the story left off from AVX Round 2, Hope Summers is starting to bond with the Phoenix Force. Wolverine and Spider-man reach Hope, but Hope burns Wolverine and knocks out Spider-man. Hope then runs away from Utopia. The fight between The Avengers and X-men has temporarily been put on hold for the moment; the X-men gave up. Iron Man and Captain America argues over what to do with The X-men, something doesn’t seem right about the surrender. Superman vs Hulk

We’ve all dreamed about it. Many have wondered what would a fight between Superman and The Hulk would be like. Well, the wait is over. Michael Habjan and Francois Gratecap created a wonderful mini video series of a meeting between The Man of Steel and The Incredible Hulk. The scene is set when Superman flies toward the Hulk in the Mohave Desert. It’s a place where they can’t hurt anyone but each other. If you seen the previous Hulk movies, and the recent blockbuster- The Avengers, we all know that The Hulk can cause some serious damage. Also, Superman has caused some damage himself in comics and movies. The graphics on this series is incredible, and very detailed. Enjoy the battle. Comics Review: Avengers vs X men Round 2

The fight between the Avengers and X-men begins along the coast of Utopia, the X-men’s headquarters off the coast of San Francisco. Previously in Round 1, Captain America had arrived on the island demanding Cyclops to hand Hope Summers over, because the Phoenix energy is drawn to her, and could destroy the world. The Avengers arrive in S.H.I.E.L.D’s heli-carrier, and ready to battle with some of the most feared mutants in the world. The world is watching, for the news channels are filming this event. It’s hero verses hero. Marvel Comics seem to be doing this a lot lately within several of their story-lines- heroes are seen as the villains; and the readers are forced into taking sides. Avengers vs X men Round 1

A strange young boy looks upon his family’s farm land, steam rises up, the boy calls for his father, and all life on this strange world are consumed by a powerful fire- It is The Phoenix! In the sky, what looks to be a strange meteorite falling towards the Earth, and hurling fast towards the ground- slices in half the wing of a flying airplane. Then crashes through the top of one of the tallest buildings in New York, and here comes The Avengers to the rescue.
