Stan Lee Changes History, and Saves the Galaxy

Stan Lee Changes History, and Saves the Galaxy

Stan Lee is the cameo king. Stan the man is a national treasure. Stan Lee always inspires me; he has so much energy, and enthusiasm for life. Which is why I find the video so funny and so true. Who wouldn’t love to see Stan Lee be involved with so many other Geek related stories other than his Marvel Comic characters. The video is done by HISHE (How It Should Have Ended). HISHE makes so many funny videos; I have surely wasted my nights just watching and laughing my butt off at the hilarious alternate endings HISHE has produced of our favorite movies. My favorite episodes are the ones with Batman and Superman chill-in at the cafe. The episode is in collaboration with the great one- Stan [...] Read more »

Let’s All Sing The Spider-Man Theme Song

Wax Spiderman

Every time I hear the Original Spider-Man Theme Song written by Paul Francis Webster it takes me back to my childhood. Now I am not that old to have watched the original TV series air in 1967; I watched it as a kid in the 1980′s when they aired the reruns. When I was a kid they used to play the 1967 Spider-Man television series; I used to watch it every morning before heading out to school. The Spider-Man theme song is etched within my head, I may not remember all the words but the tune, and some of the words has always stuck out to me. When I saw it in the movie I smiled, I’m sure many who remembered did as well. Spider-Man [...] Read more »

Spider-man Drawn. From Hand To Computer.

Spidey

Just watch the above video and see Spider-man come to life. When I was just a kid I used to draw comics a lot. I got away from it for a while, and I am a little rusty in the drawing department now. However, I do envy those that can draw like the wind. Spider-man has always been my favorite character. He has the most unique costume. It must take a lot of work to just draw all the webs on his costume. After the creation of Spider-man, I bet any artist that had to draw him with all that black webbing in his costume must have been spending long nights to just draw them. At least some artists got a break when Spider-man switched [...] Read more »

Outsourced The Movie. It’s Not Just A TV Show.

Outsourced The Movie. Not Just A TV Show.

Most people know of the TV show when they hear of Outsourced (which is now cancelled). But recently, I was scrolling through movies on the Netflix website and I noticed that there is a Movie called Outsourced. So, I decided to watch and I streamed it through on my Playstation 3. Well it turns out the TV show is based on the movie. Outsourced is a small independent movie, and it has the same premise as the TV show with some of the same characters. Cultures clash in this delightful romantic comedy. The movie starts out with Todd Anderson (Josh Hamilton), an American Sales Representative and Manager of a Call Center for a Novelty products company in Seattle Washington. Todd  is called into the office [...] Read more »

Spider-man Says, Go Out And Vote

Spider-man Says Go Out And Vote

In 1992, I guess the VSDA decided that their weren’t many people going out to vote. Then the VSDA decided lets get Spider-man to help. The VSDA produced this short PSA in order to get the vote out. It’s true Spider-man is one of our beloved characters, but I’m not so sure that having a fictional character is the best way to get people to the polls. Although, I must admit it sure is a remember-able ad. Also, if you notice the Marvel Comics copyright in the beginning of the video. They got Marvel Comics approval, very nice. Spider-man is right though, he cannot vote for you. You will have to do it all on your own. Let Spider-man fight the Green Goblin instead. Perhaps, older fan [...] Read more »

Have Some Ghoulish Fun With- I Sell The Dead

Have Some Ghoulish Fun With I Sell The Dead

I do not believe many people have heard of the movie I Sell the Dead (2008) from Irish director Glenn McQuaid.; but it is a nice little gem of a film for lovers of comedy-horror movies. The movie begins in the 19th century; grave-robber Willie Grimes (Larry Fessenden) is being brought to his fate; paraded in front of a crowd to the guillotine. He struggles, and makes fun of the executioner; but his fate is sealed, and his head chopped off. What a way to open a movie. Awaiting the same fate as Willie Grimes is his partner Arthur Blake (Dominic Monaghan of The Lord of the Rings) who is visited by Father Duffy (Ron Perlman of Hellboy) come to give Blake his last rights before [...] Read more »
